What We Do

  1. Supporting government policy implementation in schools.
  2. Supporting school construction activities.
  3. Conducting teacher ongoing training activities (capacity building for teachers) to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools.
  4. Conducting support supervision (monitoring/inspection) of schools to ensure quality education services.
  5. Provision of non-formal vocational education skills to school dropouts and equipping them with start-up kits for self-reliance.
  6. Offering Functional Literacy skills to groups of women and men at village levels to equip them with basic reading, writing and numeracy skills for a meaningful life.
  7. Provision of water and sanitation facilities to disadvantaged schools.
  8. Advocating for the protection of the environment through schools, especially, through tree planting programs, energy saving programs, conducting school environmental days, etc.
  9. Advocating for girl child education, through dignity for girls programs, such as campaigns against early marriages, provision of re-usable sanitary pads, among others.
  10. Tackling the problem of HIV/AIDS through schools.
  11. Conducting campaigns against dropping out of schools at an early age.
  12. Provision of scholastic materials such as books, pens, school uniforms to needy, orphans and vulnerable children.
  13. Conducting campaigns against various forms of child abuses in schools.
  14. Improving the school learning environment and encouraging children to stay in school through provision of play facilities in schools.
  15. Conducting sensitization workshops for all the stakeholders in the education sector: these include parents, political leaders and civil society networks.
  16. Preserving the cultural heritage through education.
