St. Simon Peter’s vocational training centre is a private vocational training institute that offers practical technical courses. It was  founded in 1986 by the missionaries of Africa working under Hoima Catholic Diocese and registered with the Ministry of Education Science Technology and Sports, with number PTS/S/56 and with Examination Centers for Uganda Business and Technical Examination Board, and Uganda Vocational Qualification Framework, number UT084 and UVQF/024 respectively.
