The Bishop<\/h4>\n

The Bishop of Hoima Diocese, as the canonically appointed head and \nteacher of the Church in the diocese, is responsible for the entire \neducational program in the diocese, (Can. 804, 805 and 806).\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

Diocesan Education Board<\/h4>\n

\n The Diocesan Education Board shall formulate and recommend policies for education programmes in order to support the oversight, planning, guidance, and direction of the activities of the Department of Education in the Diocese. The Board shall advise the Bishop and the entire Education Secretariat on Diocesan education policy and practice, develop strategies for education development in the Diocese, and oversee the implementation of education strategies and activities. It shall also analyse annual education reports submitted by the Diocesan Education Secretariat and the Ministry of Education and provide appropriate guidance. In addition, the Board shall act as a point of reference in major dealings between the Education Secretariat and the Ministry of Education, while establishing sustainable means of funding education programmes in the Diocese.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

Secretariat<\/h4>\n

\n Headed by the Education Secretary<\/strong> of the Diocese, The Hoima Diocese Education Secretar\niat is an administrative body responsible for planning and implementing the Education Policies and activities of the Diocese of Hoima on the day to day basis and reports to the Education Board and the Bishop.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

\n At the Vicariate level<\/strong>, there is an Education Committee and a Deputy Education Secretary. At every Parish<\/strong>, a Committee and Priest in Charge lead the way. \n

\n At our Station<\/strong>, the Education Team promotes local education, concluding with an Education Focal Person in every Small Christian Community<\/strong>.\n <\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
